Can I crack CAT if I start preparing in July?
The answer is YES. Anyone can crack the CAT in 1.5 years, 1 year, 6 months, 5 months, or even 2 months, depending on how much effort you put into your preparation, how dedicated you are, and how consistent you are. Anyone can also crack the CAT in months. Simply set your goal of attending an IIM or a large B-school and begin preparing for it. Some of them have already cracked in 2 months. Some of them are those who have already given CAT earlier, some who are going into Quants, some who have already prepared for exams like JEE, etc.
Cracking CAT means getting into an IIM; you can achieve the 90%ile in CAT in just two months.90%ile in CAT results in only 33% marks in CAT. You will be given 40 minutes to solve a section where approximately 8 correct questions are in it. It is almost equal to 5 minutes per question. A person who knows the overview of the syllabus of CAT and can find the easy questions for him can crack the CAT in 2 months.
